The Jalan actress stated that she opposes the notion, as does the Pakistani public, and that there is no need to include item numbers when decent movies are being produced.
Areeba Habib used Mahira Khan’s hit song Noori as an example, explaining that it’s such a wonderful song that there’s no need for item numbers.
The Ishq Zahe Naseeb actress Zarnish Khan further explained that, unlike films made outside Pakistan, local cinema does not require item numbers since they are not a selling factor for us.
On the work aspect, Areeba Habib is preparing to return to television alongside Osama Tahir, Saboor Aly, and Syed Shafaat Ali. Khan will appear with Shahroz Sabzwari and Syeda Tuba Aamir in the forthcoming drama serial Yeh Ishq Samajh Na Aye.
