A 30-year-old guy was hacked up and placed in a canal in the country’s fifth-most populated metropolis Gujranwala, reportedly asking for a girl’s hand in marriage.
According to local media reports, the victim’s father, Tariq Yaqub, became enraged when Rizwan requested his permission to marry his daughter.
The girl’s father became upset after the victim’s brother indicated his wish to marry Yaqub’s daughter, according to an FIR filed by the victim’s brother, Arshad Ali Bhatti.

In the FIR, Arshad alleged that Yaqub and his son Amir Hamza had placed the body’s fragments into a bag and discarded them in a canal near Gujranwala. The dead used to pay a visit to the girl’s house, but he never returned after one of these visits.
The complainant went on to say that he became concerned when he couldn’t get in touch with his brother. Furthermore, several guys have witnessed suspects throwing two bags into a canal.

According to the FIR, the suspect was also seen wearing Rizwan’s shoes, which his brother quickly identified. When confronted, the suspect began to make excuses, claiming that the victim had not arrived at their location.
The complaint requested law enforcement to apprehend the culprits and retrieve Rizwan’s body.
