Officials in India said on Saturday that TV star Pearl V Puri had been detained for allegedly abusing and raping a juvenile girl.
Palghar police in Maharashtra took action against the actor after a case was filed against him under IPC Sec. 376 AB and POCSO Act, 4, 8, 12, 19, and 21 for raping the minor two years ago.

The victim’s family filed a complaint against the “Naagin 3” actor, accusing him of raping the five-year-old child.
Pearl’s acting career began with the 2013 programme “Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat,” and he came to stardom with his roles in Ekta Kapoor’s drama serials “Naagin 3” and “Bepanah Pyaar.”

In this regard, the actor has yet to make a remark.
Pearl V Puri was sentenced to judicial remand by a municipal court in Vasai.
