Randhir Kapoor, a Bollywood star and filmmaker, has been admitted to the ICU after testing positive for Covid-19. Authorities at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital announced the veteran actor’s hospitalization on Thursday, according to The Indian Express.
“Last night, veteran actor Shri Randhir Kapoor was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for Covid-19 care. His health continues to be stable “According to the newspaper, Dr Santosh Shetty, CEO and Executive Director of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, said in a tweet.
I’ve been moved to the Intensive Care Unit to undergo further examinations. Tina Ambani is taking excellent care of me at the hospital. All is in its place. They are going to great lengths to support me. “I have no idea how I got Covid,” he told the Times of India, adding, “The doctors are still there.”
