Samaa TV, a private news network, has named former all-rounder Shahid Afridi as its Director of Sports.

Afridi, who has joined Samaa TV for the new post, is enthusiastic about the channel’s promotion of Pakistani talent.

“I’m fortunate to be on a stage where I can support Pakistan’s future heroes.  Pakistan’s skill is not limited to cricket; there are sportsmen in other games who may emerge for the country if they are given the proper assistance. Through this show, I want to show the entire globe that our nation has a lot of skill,” he remarked on Samaa’s newest broadcast, ‘Game Set Match,’ while talking cricket.

Boom Boom got moved to Quetta Gladiators roughly two weeks ago after serving Multan Sultans in the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League.

Prior to his huge transfer, Shahid Afridi played four games for Multan in the first leg of the PSL 6, taking two wickets. He was injured soon before the second leg of the tournament in the United Arab Emirates, and he did not participate in the team that won the title in Abu Dhabi.

James Vince, on the other hand, scored 174 runs in five matches during the Karachi leg. He was also unable to attend the UAE round.
