Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has hailed young phenom Shahnawaz Dahani, who is the league’s top bowler.
In an interview with a TV broadcaster, the former pacer lauded many young PSL players for their great accomplishments.
According to him, the PSL gives players access to the right platform, allowing them to perform at their peak.
“It’s heartening to see cricketers from all around Pakistan competing in this tournament. He added, “It is my aim for these young players to go up and play.”
He praised players like Daniyal Aziz, Iftikhar Ahmad, and Asad Ali, with Dahani receiving special praise.
Shahnawaz Dhani seems to be the new star on the horizon. Doing really well. Great performance, great attitude.

The 45-year-old continued, “My heart goes out to Shahnawaz Dhanani in particular.” Akhtar is “very happy” with Dahani’s cricket, and he has advised the newcomer to stay fit and keep training.
“Make sure you do a fantastic job for Pakistan,” he advised Shahnawaz.
As a consequence of his amazing performance in the PSL 2021, Dahani, a Larkana native, has recently become a national superstar.
In eight matches, the 22-year-old has 18 wickets at an average of 14.00 and a strike rate of 9.7.
After taking four wickets for only five runs, he regained his position as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker.
Shoaib Akhtar also spoke on the teams competing in the PSL knockout round, which begins later today.
He regarded Peshawar Zalmi as a vicious team but anticipated that the Karachi King’s response will be fascinating to see.
